Hawthorne Families!

Thank you all for being here with us to help us celebrate our new home, to share with us the pride we feel when we see our students shine because this building is their “New Hive”, knowing this is where their successes began. It goes without saying that this new state-of-the-art building is not only beautiful, but it’s built to provide interactive learning opportunities by creating a “hive” of student connectivity, visual curiosity, and learning interaction.

The new art and music rooms provide space for indoor and outdoor active learning.The student-centered spaces are open and welcoming. The collaboration pods encourage both interaction and quiet spaces for study. We can now proudly host community gatherings and student performances in both the gym and the cafeteria, at opposite ends of the building. And the off-street pickup and drop-off points make entry safe and accessible for visitors, community members and faculty.

Thank you to all our parents, staff and community for your patience and cooperation during the two-year process. Together, we did it, and now our Hornets have a new home and now we want to have a new uniform to represent our students and school as well as the success we want for our students.
